If your only concern is speeding the arrival procedure at TLV, upgrades will not do it. In TLV they still bus you to the terminal, and your chances to be on the first bus are equally good if you're seated way in the back and they decide (as they often to) to open the back door of a 747. Then there's passport control, which can take a good half hour. Try not to check in luggage, as this may add another half hour to the procedure.

OT, the new terminal in TLV is scheduled to open November 3rd. No more buses!
