Apart from flying, most of mine come from Citibank and RBS AA credit cards - unfortunately is 1 mile / £1 spend (nowhere near as good as 1mile / $ ) but it soon adds up.

UA do do a credit card for the UK if you have not already got one - and usually a good sign-up bonus as well.
