I probably won't be able to answer all questions, but hopefully some

First about the timing of this change - w
e had started planning and filing the new fares well before the coronavirus situation escalated, which means that postponing the ticket type renewal was really not an option. Then everything changed, so we had to find a middle ground and decided to launch something as close as possible to the "pre-March 31" structure. So at this point this is a rather technical change more than the overhaul we originally envisioned. We will talk about it more later in 2020, of course depending on how this crisis develops. At that time we will also launch Business Light.
About the point accrual - at this stage there is no differentiation between the two J class ticket types. We are still evaluating this, so I won't be able to tell you how this will be structured.
About un-bundling of fares (esp Business Light) - this is honestly what a lot of our customers wish to see. I know it looks very different from your vantage point, but that's what consistently comes up in our customer research. Another addition to the puzzle was that this is differentiating J experience for elites (more of an added bonus than the reason why we un-bundled, but still).
Hopefully this sheds some light on this issue.
