Miles and status take the sting out of commercial travel. But there is no need for either when you have your own machine. Of course I would opt for the BBJ.

Where this breaks down is the fact that you can never operate even a small jet (let alone a BBJ) for the cost of even a few people's travel. You need to spread the cost base over a large usage group for the dollar costs to start evening out.
