More exotic items like chili crab are more expensive but generally are still quite cheap by US standards. I think I've spent maybe $20 for 2 at Old airport road Hawker for 6-7 dishes. I think the most expensive thing I got there was the prawn noodle soup which was fantastic. It's maybe slightly more expensive than Maxwell, Chinatown, etc. Most expensive I've been to was I think at Glutton's bay. Haven't been to Chomp Chomp though as I ran out of time.
