I remember being offered cigarettes on a CX flight intra-Asia in Y class in the mid-70's. If I remember correctly, there were 4 full packs of cigarettes on a lined silver tray, they were Dunhill, Marlboro, a Japanese brand, and something in menthol (yuk!). The packs were opened with about 3 sticks slightly sticking out of each.
