I've been a Glob/Diamond for 20 year and always relied on company work travel to make these statuses. I really don't think there are many ppl that spend over $100K with CC (especially the way you described it) compared to us who rely on company travel. If Hyatt thinks this is a loophole, they can raise it to 200K spent. But apparently they are happy with this at the moment.
It only makes sense that Hyatt match what Hilton is offering.
