The company announced that its last flight was Nantes Madrid at seven in the afternoon on Saturday, March 28 2020 and that it would temporarily stop flying until further notice due to restrictions on national and international mobility.


According to its president Carlos Bartomeu, the company that in the last 25 years has operated uninterrupted, 24 hours, 365 days a year, has operated more than two million flights with approximately 90.6 million passengers transported, temporarily ceases operations due to to causes of force majeure, and it does so to guarantee the survival of the company.
