Went last year, and had a good time. $5 at the gate, and $10 gets you an engraved glass. Don't expect any 'super-premium' wines (last year saw Concha y Toro & Coppola to name a few), but expect to find a few you don't see at your neighborhood store (not including Sam's Wine & Spirits!)

Wells Street is turned into a European-style market for this second-annual festival. Sample 50 wines from around the world, cuisine from neighborhood eateries, watch cooking demonstrations, browse arts and crafts and hear live music by Mavis Staples (8:30 p.m.) and others. Purchase a $10 souvenir tasting glass for wine samples, in addition to the gate donation.
