Lastly, does this mean IB does not honor oneworld Sapphire rules for extra baggage allowance similar to AA? I had the same issue with AA last year where I was flying PEY from JFK to LHR. I believe standard allowance is 2x23 kgs for PEY. The duty manager for AA was kind enough to accept my bag weighing 27kgs at that time.
