I want to share some information.. I booked a flight with MileagePlus and the flight was cancelled. The airline canceled it. Not me.
United refused to redeposit the miles without a $125 fee. They said the ticket can be "changed" for free BUT only in March.. if I change to a date in April.. and that flight gets cancelled too.. then free changes are NOT being allowed in April. I find this whole situation crazy. Why can't United just have pity on their customers and just extend the free changes policy through May. At this rate everyone is having flights canceled.. and I can't risk losing the miles or having all my money tied up in flights that can only be changed in March, and cannot be changed in April without paying a $125 fee.
Anyone else agree with this or in the same boat?
