Note that if the flight number begins with DL (it is marketed as a DL codeshare), it may not earn anything on SQ. I don't know if DL codeshares with SQ or not.

Thanks for the response. Have you actually tried this before?

I searched the itinerary again and the flight clearly begins with a SQ. It's the same with NH as well.
