I’m not certain, but I do wonder if this was all an elaborate hoax and the OP either wasn’t in NZ at all or did actually fly home days ago but left the thread open to see the drama and story unfurl, to split the forum into ‘wow he’s brave’ and ‘wow he’s an idiot’ camps. Not really sure I mind either way though, it’s certainly created a bit of drama, goodness knows we need a good story right now
