You could book it to keep the collected nights alive, at least at the time when you posted your above inquiry, and a no-show on a prepaid reservation would also work to do so.
I am facing this expiry situation right now, and this and other posts talk about booking a prepaid room. I am not quite sure how to select only prepaid options on hotels.com, and those that I come up with are all of the type that say "pay now & cancel for free until blah/blah/blah" - which I take to mean post-paid. Does anyone know if it matters that it is not prepaid or if there is some way to filter results to only show prepaid options?
