You're not seriously suggesting that you could do a chargeback for a flight simply because you don't want to take it anymore? And you're also not suggesting that you should do a chargeback without asking the merchant to resolve the issue first?

#3 won't work -- the international rebooking terms only come up if there's a schedule change.
Booking travel without intent to fly is prohibited by UA's Contract of Carriage.

If you made the change now, to a flight that you believed would be wiped off of the schedule, you could potentially get the end-of-12-month refund. Doing daily changes seems more likely to draw attention to me.
