And I was feeling sorry for myself. I have a trip end of May that made a night layover mandatory on my return Land @10am flight to NY leaves before that. Checked which chains had hotels in BEG and I narrowed it down to Hyatt,Hilton and Marriott, with my preference for Marriott, low and behold it wasnt available for pts, The Hyatt for 5K was the best deal just didnt want to be on the other side of the river and The Hilton was apx a 5 min walk from the mini bus stop so that won out

After reading all the great views of The Metropol Im glad it wasnt available. End May is along way off but it probably doesnt matter as I doubt things would hav ereturned to normal and most likely my flights will be CXed still and being a mistake fare will probably be refunded, but still good to know to avoid this hotel when I do get teh chance to get to BEG
