Also QF has a funky rule about stopovers (I think both ends of an open jaw become stopovers, but don't remember the rule exactly and am too lazy to look it up right now, as I'll never use this kind of award myself -- I'll use AAdvantage instead which doesn't have all the onerous rules that QF does). The stopovers in turn may require paying stopover points on QF.
