My wife and I are considering booking 2 *A award seats LAX-BOM in Y with a lap child. According to UA International reservations, a US West Coast departure allows us to travel via the Pacific on a North America-Central Asia *A award at 80K miles each.
Any suggestions on which would be the better carriers, assuming award seats are equally available for such a trip? (SQ/UA/TG/NH/OZ)?
I'm a UA *gold, my wife might become UA *silver by trip time.
Of prime importance would be infant bassinet, I know not all of these carriers have them, and would also vary based on route/equipment. We've previously travelled ORD-BOM on LH, and having the bassinet was wonderful! (our daughter is petite, easily fits in the LH bassinet, generally sleeps for most of the flight, and has yet to cry or disturb pax!

)
Other issues would be seat comfort, IFE, meal quality (vegetarian), lounges, and potential stopover options.
I've done transpac twice in recent years in SQ Y (alone), how would it compare to the other carriers?
Since we have a stopover option in each direction, that also factors in-- what would be a good place for a 2-3 day stopover- ICN/BKK/TPE/NRT/other? SIN is not a consideration because we've already planned that for a future trip.
My *A experience has thus far (all Y) been on UA, US, BD, LH, and SQ, so that's what I use for reference and comparison.
Thanks all!
