Am I doing this math wrong because this just seems dumb from a MQD perspective?

LAX-MEX-LIM in I on AM

8356 Base Miles x2 (class bonus) = 16712

MQM x 1.5 = 25068
MQD x 0.4 = 6684

10:1 MQD:$ ratio???
