They could have run another few days' worth of repatriation flights, even if they had to ferry empty aircraft to do it. Nobody would have blamed them for reducing the schedule, but I take issue with suspending all DR flights immediately without notice and leaving their customers to fend for themselves.
True. They should have arranged a private jet, or maybe a military helicopter, to ferry the OP even if the DR banned them from flying in.
