For those traveling to Sydney this weekend, be aware that train schedules are affected due to track work maintenance. Of particular interest, rail services to and from the airport will be replaced by
buses.

On 18 and 19 September RailCorp will continue the upgrade of the overhead wiring system between Central and Redfern. Other works to be undertaken include rerailing, bridge refurbishment and construction associated with the Macdonaldtown turnback.
This important maintenance is a complex operation that will affect most train services to the city and around the network for the duration of the weekend. CityRail has made alternative travel arrangements for customers.
