I think I like the hotel and the food outside BKK better. It looks more relaxed, more normal.
I could recommend ThanoTech K11 bumper with exact fitting glass protector. https://www.thanotech.com/collections/accessories
The bumper protects the iPhone surprisingly well and the screen protector lasts around 3 months for me.
Nice that you explore other parts of Thailand.
Btw, do you know the type/name of green olives served with your pizza in BKK?
