This is standard performance for local baggage delivery in Miami. I'm headed that way myself in three weeks. I'll probably check a bag just for mere curiosity. Perhaps if I stop by the AC and have a drink, my bag will be waiting for me.

I can tell you that American Airlines has first bag/last bag delivery standards for every airport it serves. They differ slightly depending on airport layout and such. I can promise with 99.9% certainty that MIA does not meet standards.

I'm not sure Tony Soprano could fix it....or maybe he's the only one that could. That place has had more management "talent" dumped on it since AA took it over than I can list here.
