[QUOTE=DAL Cowboy]I did a search on this and I apologize if it's been discussed before, but I could not find what I was looking for.

I fly primarily on Delta, but have accumulated small amounts of miles on other airlines that I would like to give to friends and family. Specifically American & Continental.

Do these programs allow you to share or pool miles? Which programs do?

Thanks[/QUOTE

Hi I'm new. But am loyal to Continental. Continental will allow you purchase a reward ticket for someone other than the account owner. The other thing I have done is gone to their website under
Home > Frequent Flyer Program > Use Miles > Non-travel Rewards > Miles for Merchandise. You can buy some interesting items for 100 miles plus a charge if you don't have enough for a reward ticket. I've bought some great stuff for some of my clients and family members. Why not use your miles to upgrade someone?
