My grandmother passed away very early yesterday morning, peacefully in her sleep. We had a small graveside service today (just the four of us and the Rabbi -- my grandfather could not attend) because of the corona virus, but I imagine we'll have a memorial service later this year. We just did a virtual shiva call over a Zoom conference and over 60 people attended. It was wonderful to "see" everyone.
Now back to homework. I got a couple of assignment extensions, but the semester does not stop!

Very sorry for your loss and especially sorry that your grandfather couldn't attend. Wishing your family all the best during this time.

Morning, kipper/all! I realized this morning that I have no idea what I'm going to do the next two days. I've had work to keep me busy all week. I guess I
could work through the weekend, but there's really no need to. I was hoping to go hiking tomorrow, but the weather forecast doesn't look great for that. Maybe we'll break out a puzzle.
