Has anyone canceled a ticket recently that was purchased with My Wallet credit? In September 2019 I successfully "refreshed" the expiration of My Wallet funds by using them to purchase a refundable First class ticket. Then sometime later I cancelled and the funds were redeposited in My Wallet with a new expiration date of one year from the date of the recent ticket purchase. I am about to cancel a ticket for my husband that was purchased using My Wallet, and I noticed the following language I didn't remember seeing before:
"My wallet credit will not be refunded beyond its original expiration date."
I wonder if that language has always been there or was recently added? And does that mean that no funds will be redeposited if the original expiration date of the My Wallet funds used to purchase the ticket has since passed? Any recent experiences would be appreciated.
Update: I canceled the First Class reservation on 7/31 and the credit showed up in My Wallet the next day with an expiration date of 1/23/21 (one year from ticket purchase). No issues with the language I was worried about, i.e. the original expiration date had long since passed.
