We are supposed to be only travelling BA for the last leg of our AKL-SIN-ZRH-ARL-LHR trip but now SQ have cancelled the SIN-ZRH-ARL sectors so we are a bit stuck and have been told that we wouldn't be allowed the stopover in ARL anyway as we are coming from outside the Schengen area! So like op we are stuck in AKL and have decided to stay until the end of June (provided immigration will extend our stay until then) so will have to try and find some accommodation until then, our current house rental on the North Shore ends 31st March and is already rented out to somebody else from April 1st. Oh well! there are worst places to be stuck I guess but the accommodation thing is a worry as the rentals are somewhat expensive and usually what a commitment for a minimum of 6 months, so, the hunt begins....
