No industry bailout w/o conditions. Including direct payroll subsidies to airline industry workers, including pilots and flight attendants but also airport service workers. Airlines regularly cycle through booms and busts. Since the big 2008-09 downturn, they reportedly used 96% of their free cash flow to do stock buybacks, not to build a financial cushion. Not saving for a rainy day is on them.
