With business travel and very important leasure travel (like a honeymoon or wedding trip) I too purchase full fare (unless it's my company buying and it will try to work out a deal.) You never know if more work is needed on that presentation or if you have to cancel that once in a lifetime trip for some unforseen emergency.

I alwasy try to get tickets where I can change them (even if I'm stuck with paying a 75 dollar change fee, it's better than having to buy a NEW ticket!) CATMAN
