To make matters worse the Accor website no longer features any information on cancellations/refunds. It is still available on Twitter.
The combination of a very poor grasp of the situation, a despicable waiver and pushing responsibility to individual hotels is a recipe for disaster. Accor HQ are clearly not taking ownership of the situation. And while I appreciate some hotels are doing the right thing this is a matter where Accor HQ, and the CEO in particular, need to lead. It cannot be left to individual hotels.
