That's the big question mark in the other thread.. most airlines have worded it as "fare difference", which does imply the fare, which in this case may end at some point and change to a new fare code.

Yet, there is also booking class, with this posted on the Swiss.com website (some of the flights are LH, some LX, in these deals):

I have a non-rebookable flight booking with a departure date up to April 30. Can I rebook to a later date?

Due to the coronavirus, you can once rebook your flight ticket for the same or any route in the network to a later date up to December 31, 2020, without any rebooking fee. Additionally we offer extra flexibility to rearrange your travel needs. Just cancel now (do not cancel via swiss.com) and contact us anytime before June, 1 2020 to make the new reservation for a travel date up to December 31, 2020. If the original booking class is no longer available, you have to pay the corresponding difference. You will be able to use the value of your unused ticket for a future travel. Please note that this special waiver policy currently cannot be carried out on swiss.com.
To me that would have P as my booking class... so if P is still available as a common fare, then there should be no fare difference.

It's confusing, and I don't think anyone has a direct answer yet.

Edit: And yet, here is the LH website:

You do not have a reservation yet but like flexible travel options:Book a new ticket until 31 March 2020, and the airlines of the Lufthansa Group will waive the rebooking fees for all newly booked flights worldwide and offer a one-time rebooking – regardless of condition of the original booking fare purchased. You can rebook to a new travel date until 31 December 2020 without rebooking fees.
