- Passports and other documents accepted for entry must be
valid for a minimum of 1 month beyond the period of intended
stay.
- Documents accepted for entry issued by Hong Kong (SAR
China) must be valid on arrival.
Passport Exemptions:
- Passengers older than 10 years with a Hong Kong (SAR China)
permanent identity card.
- Passengers older than 10 years with a Hong Kong (SAR China)
identity card. The card must have the asterisk or 'R' code.
- Passengers with a Re-entry Permit issued by Hong Kong.
- Passengers with a British emergency or temporary passport.
Admission and Transit Restrictions:
- Passengers who reside or have been in the Hubei Province
(China People's Rep.) in the past 14 days are not allowed to
enter Hong Kong (SAR China).
- Passengers who have been in China (People's Rep.), Iran or
the Emilia-Romagna, Lombardy and Veneto regions (covering
Bologna, Milan, Venice and Verona) in Italy in the past 14
days, are not allowed to enter if their permitted stay in
Hong Kong (SAR China) is less than 14 days.
- Passengers who have been in Korea (Rep.) in the past 14 days
are not allowed to enter Hong Kong (SAR China).

Visa required, except for Passengers with a British passport
with nationality British Citizen for a maximum stay of 180
days.
Visa required, except for Passengers with a British passport
with nationality British Subject , British Overseas
Territories Citizen , British National (Overseas) , British
Overseas Citizen or British Protected Person for a maximum
stay of 90 days.
Visa required, except for Passengers with a British emergency
or temporary passport.
Visa required, except for Passengers with a Hong Kong (SAR
China) permanent identity card.
Warning:
- All arriving passengers and crew members must present a
completed Health Declaration Form to the Department of
Health upon arrival.
- Passengers arriving from or having been in China (People's
Rep.), Iran, Korea (Rep.) or the Emilia-Romagna, Lombardy
and Veneto regions (covering Bologna, Milan, Venice and
Verona) in Italy in the past 14 days, are subject to
compulsory quarantine for 14 days.
- People who have been in France (Bourgogne-Franche-Comte and
Grand Est), Germany (North Rhine-Westphalia), Italy, Japan
(Hokkaido) or Spain (La Rioja, Madrid and Pais Vasco) in the
past 14 days, are required to stay in a quarantine center
for 14 days.
- Passports and other travel documents accepted for entry are
considered valid until the day before the expiration date.
- Visitors not holding return/onward tickets could be refused
entry.
- Except if holding a British passport endorsed British
National (Overseas) .
