Police in the Canary Islands went around closing bars and restaurants around midnight last night. Our official number of COVID-19 cases is 0 here in Fuerteventura, however we have to comply with the restrictions which cover the whole of Spain for the next 15 days.

Freedom of movement restrictions apply from 8am Monday morning which limit people to only being able to leave their homes to go to the supermarket, ATM, pharmacy, health centre, petrol station or place of work. We are expecting police check points with the possibility of fines for people not complying.
