Any updates on how Chase is handling independently ticketed airfare for cancelled cruises? I have a South Pacific cruise from New Zealand which I expect to be cancelled as RCL corp is stopping all cruises until April 11. The cruise line will probably offer a refund or future cruise credit. https://presscenter.rclcorporate.com...n-of-cruising/

Airfares were purchased separately from the cruise directly with Air NZ, Intl from SFO-AKL in late March, ZQN-AKL-SFO and two other separately ticketed domestic legs. Would the international ticket cancellation be covered by Chase or would I be better off accepting Air NZ's credit? Air New Zealand's current policy is
For any existing long haul bookings (including Honolulu and Bali) issued prior to and including 4 March 2020, with travel commencing prior to 1 July 2020, the following flexibility options are available:
  • You are able to make one change to your booking, where the standard change fee and contact centre service fee will be waived.
  • If you are unsure as to when you would like to travel, you can have your fare held in credit for 12 months from the date of original issue. Upon rebooking, any change fees and service fees will be waived.
Please note that fare and tax difference may apply when rebooking. If you have booked your flights with a travel agent, please reach out to them directly to make changes.

Traveling with my boyfriend and we don't share a residence. Both tickets were purchased with my CSR.

We still have some time before the flight and things aren't looking good for SF Bay Area, so also waiting to see if Air NZ will be cancelling and/or if flights to/from CA get restricted. Hopefully cancellation from Air NZ side would trigger a refund?
