Agent did warn me that the milage ticket might not be transferable which I found confusing since original flight was cancelled. It was dependant on award space.
Agent was incorrect, they can always force open award space on DL metal during times like this. Only time this wouldn’t be the case is on partner flights as they can’t force open the space on their flights.
