The vast majority of my colleagues and I have jobs that require our physical presense, full stop. No staff, and the business closes today. We travel, it is our raison d'être. Starting today office staff need their immediate superior's permission to travel to "special risk" areas, and travel should be postponed if that can be done without any significant effect on business. Staff returning from "special risk" areas with symptoms should self-isolate at home. That's about it. Then of course we must comply with all restricitions imposed by various authorities and governments all over the place.

I traveled by ferry, train, plane and taxi yesterday (plus bicycle, but that's irrelevant in this context). The ferry was business as usual, the train rather quiet, and the plane far fuller than I had expected. A lot of people are still traveling, and quite a few of those who are not would have done so if they had not been restrained by company policy, official bans and restrictions, or canceled flights.

Almost everybody I have spoken to in the last few days was very relaxed about this whole corona thing, their attitude often bordering on the cavalier. They were of course all people who were still traveling, so obviously not a representative sample.
