I talked to one of the guys who's doing a lot of the coding on this @ a conference in SAN this summer. It's all very neat stuff. I got a cool "Hack The Phone:TellMe.com" t-shirt out of it. They also support individuals developing their own TellMe services for use on the TellMe system. My brain immediately started spinning out possible FF uses for it

a programmer to use it either.

It is ad-supported, so yes, there are occasional blurbs inserted to help pay for it all.
And yes, the vorec behind it IS quite amazing. I can only imagine the number of PhD theses that resulted from the initial research that led to it.
