Add to that our age and my husband being on immunosuppressants it just doesn’t seem worth it. I’ve been trying to find the cancellation rules for our holiday but discover I should have printed them out before completing the book and now need to contact BA for information which is apparently impossible. Does anyone know what the holiday cancellation rules usually are? To be honest I assumed we would get nothing so were planning on holding off until the day before in case a travel ban is imposed or BA makes cancels our flights, but it would be good to know.
I am also in this position with a BA holiday to Madeira on 23rd March so will be very interested to hear any advice. I realise we can’t just cancel because we’ve gone off the ideA. Actually we want to go but I am a tad worried about lock-downs. Many thanks. I did phone up SAGA and ask them what would happen in the run up to the trip if we had to take the government advice about self-isolating if we had a fever/cough. The chap said ‘phone us.’ Hmmmmm!
