I stumbled upon this voice portal 1-800-555-TELL http://www.tellme.com . When you dial in to this number you can get free information either by voice activated menu or you can key in some info......
Its worth a try you can get nation wide information such as restaurants, weather, stock quotes, Travel Info, Traffic Reports, News, Sports, and more......

For example I wanted to find a restaurant in Ann Arbor, MI (My old College Stomping Ground ). I Drilled down the appropriate menus and found the restaurant I wanted, and it even connects you(should you need to make reservations, or place an order).

My Review:
I definitley will store this number on my cell phone, I was impressed by the quality of voice recognition(no errors). The only draw-back is you have to listen to 3 second blurps about the services sponsors every time you access a new feature.

Quick Hints:
You dont have to listen to the whole menu to make a selection
To Back track up menus, just say "Go Back"
