The 5K reward for TWIN? Is there any chance of upgraded room or they are pretty strict you get what you paid for? Debating to change to a paid rate for better selection while I paid only 5k per night I don't want to sleep in a room which I Feel like I paid 5k a night.

They offer a 1/2 board or Full board option. The reports are food is not extremely great so curious does anyone know the a-l-c rates for a meal? Is it worth an extra $21 in rate or pay as I go or after one night I'd prefer to eat off the property?
I had a 3-night stay earlier in the year. I booked the cheapest room and got an upgrade to a perfectly nice refurbished room on the top floor of a block close to the sea. They gave me the choice of a block closer to the main building, or the one i selected. The rate was low enough for me not to even consider using points. Breakfast was included, without invoking Diamond privileges

Staff were nice, helpful courteous. Breakfast was fine, but a bit if a zoo if you got there at the wrong time. I didn't eat any other meals in the hotel, but found a couple of inexpensive places nearby. I wouldn't think $21 for all-inclusive good value: though of course that depends on just how you play the system and wha you can eke out of it.

Excursions on foot are kind of limited: walking up towards the city through commercial and hotel zones is about all you can do in the evening.

It's an OK place for a lazy few days, but I really wouldn't want to stay any longer.
