In another thread, there are some complaints about a too limited travel waiver policy by Accor, but I can say it's not better for the Accorhotels arena in Paris. By government instructions, all shows/concerts/sport events are cancelled until further notice. Knowing that, if you go to the arena website, you logically expect a big banner on the home page with instructions, policies for reimbusement. A small banner has just been placed today (until this morning there was nothing, while the large events ban is in effect for several weeks now).
It says : "knowing the information communicated by authorities, please find
here the last update about events postponed."
And when you click on "
here", you arrive on..."page not found - the page you are looking for does not exist. For any information, you can look at our FAQ"
For each show, the information about cancellation or postponement, is the very discret and very small yellow band in the top left corner
If you select a show, the original date is still shown. No large sign saying it is postponed or cancelled (only the small yellow banner).
Zero proactive communications for cancelled/postponed shows. I have bought tickets in december for Harlem Globe Trotters, directly on the Arena website (not through a 3rd party) and I have received no information at all about cancellation/postponement & how & when they will proceed for reimbursement or tickets revalidation for another date. I understand they might be very busy but it's not difficult to send a mass standard standby email to all customers affected.
I have sent a request through the contact form on the website on the 6th of march. I have received an acknowledgement of receipt immediately. We are now the 11th and 0 news !
