I am not sure they ever did that. I don't remember any drink reception even when it was a Hilton.
Was on a Friday evening I believe a little over a year ago, was referred to as a Diamond or Managers reception, but basically included specific drinks only in one of their bars for an hour or two ago. Seemed pretty subtle.

Nice to hear that a’la carte items are included at breakfast, never knew that.
