I've only been asked 2-3 times, and they actually were valid, for midget commuter A/C.

I'm not sure the SS was open when I was last in the INTL hammerhead. I did not have a qualifying ticket.

I can't speak for the others, but I find the suggestion that one might be able to sneak or scam or error ones way in to be worse than unhelpful. I don't mind giving people hope, or some confidence to get what they are entitled too, and I equally don't mind telling people I don't have time to teach them how to simply adult. But until there is evidence otherwise, there is zero hope for anyone to get into the SSL who doesn't have an appropriate ticket.
