I like Old Airport Road hawker center so yes. 10-15 minutes from Conrad.
Taxis - easy.
If you Grab it from there to SIN, the app auto defaults to 1 or 2 predetermined points, behind the hawker center in the carpark - just so that you know. I haven't been successful in dropping a pin on Old Airport Road itself - I just call the driver and ask to be picked near the bus stop.
