Any idea what EMD is? Never seen that before (though admitteddly, can’t say I’ve paid much attention). Would have to look later to get the exact term.
MCO is Miscellaneous Charge Order. EMD is Electronic Miscellaneous Document. MCOs were originally paper, although I doubt UA has issued a paper MCO in a decade. They'd be equivalent -- in fact, you'll get an ETC for either. The difference here may be as simple as the person who wrote one fare template was a newer hire used to the new term, and the other person was an experienced hire used to the old term.
