Resort fee on point stay with paid upgrade
Good afternoon all. I've searched the threads and cannot find an answer to this specific question. I know that Hilton will NOT charge resort fees on point stays but they DO charge RF's on cash+points. BUT does anyone know if they charge resort fees on a point stay where the room has a paid upgrade?

Context: Booked at Casa Marina, KW FL for 90k points. Was offered a guaranteed upgrade to an ocean view for $75. Would that payment nullify the waived resort fee rule, ultimately resulting in a $120/nt ding ($75+$45RF)?

Thanks for your help. Best to be armed with good info prior to arrival.
