What are FTers opinions on whether United will actually suspend/cancel its FCO flight service temporarily, like other European airlines have done. It seems like it should (given the all-of-Italy quarantine/restriction), but I have not seen any action from United on this. I have no idea who is flying in/out of Rome on United these days, but it seems very odd that they haven't acted yet.
And, if they do this, would it be normal to get a full refund (as opposed to credit) for a nonrefundable flight we had? And, how exactly does that work? Would we need to proactively take action? Do they just automatically send an email (saying it will be refunded to our credit card we used to book)?
Thanks in advance for any thoughts.
