Best Place To Rent In Coastal Portugal for a Month

Hello hive mind.

Assuming that we're still alive and allowed to travel in September, my family would like to rent a whole place (5-6 people) for the whole month, somewhere on the coast in Portugal.

Although we are all from Europe originally, none of us have ever been to Portugal, as is required by law in some of the northern countries.

So I come here to ask two questions:

1) Where should we go? It's gotta be on the coast, i.e. beach access is important.

2) Is there a Portuguese agency that specializes in these sorts of bookings (I'm sure there are hundreds), or should I stick with Airbnb or VRBO or some other stateside outfit?
