I have paper award tickets, issued by Qantas, for travel on BA. I subsequently made a date change, but the routing and flight numbers stayed the same. Qantas confirmed the change, I called BA and they have the new dates and assigned seats for me.

One agent at Qantas told me I do not have to get the tickets reissued since the routing did not change.

Another agent at Qantas told me I DO have to send them in.

I don't want to part with these unless I absolutely have to. If the check-in agent will take them as is, then there's no reason for me to go through the effort of sending them to QF FF center for them to print new ones, is there?
