I was sick last year and tried to make my flight...GSP-ATL-SLC....got to ATL and decided because of bathroom issues that I should not be flying. Delta put me on the first flight back to GSP and with a doctors note that I provided to them via Twitter they reimbursed for the remainder of the flights. Delta will work with you!
